Ever since the invention it’s fair to say that the Digital Smile Design protocol changed modern age and digital dentistry forever. While the philosophy behind the concept is far from new, the translation from analogue protocols to digital protocols made complex esthetic and interdisciplinary dentistry accessible to the major dental public.
While the classic Digital Smile Design (DSD) 2 dimensional protocols rely heavily on the use of software tools like Powerpoint and Keynote and some more advanced steps and computer know-how, with the introduction of tools like SmileCloud the universe of interdisciplinary dentistry became even more accessible.

This is why we started the Karma.Design course. We will learn you all the basic steps and fundamentals from as well 2D as 3D Digital Smile Design and how to translate your design into accessible treatment strategies, and how you can communicate these strategies and the data with your dental lab, planning centers and your (referring) colleagues.
The live course will take place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June 2026 in Moergestel (Noord-Brabant), and tickets are very, very limited!
